Costa Brava quickly makes you fall in love with its beautiful landscapes, pleasant climate, beaches and coves with crystal-clear waters and charming villages. Food lovers also have the opportunity to discover a small paradise of haute cuisine during their stay on the Costa Brava.

The enormous diversity of proposals, cultures and flavours characterises a large part of the gastronomic offer that we find in the different towns that make up the Costa Brava. During our routes and visits we will have no problem finding a restaurant that suits the type of cuisine that we fancy the most at any time. However, in this list we highlight the most outstanding establishments on the Costa Brava that have been awarded a Michelin Star.

Here are the Michelin-starred restaurants on the Costa Brava.

Alt Empordà

In Alt Empordà there are two Michelin-starred establishments. In Llançà we find the Miramar Restaurant, which allows us to enjoy a tasty avant-garde cuisine right on the seafront.

A little further inland, in Castelló d'Empúries, we find Emporium. It is a restaurant with a family tradition that allows us to discover a cuisine with traditional roots, but that does not refuse to bring a certain touch of creativity and modernity to its proposal.

Gironès

Girona is a gastronomic centre of reference on the international stage thanks to its quality and diversity, and to the inestimable fame that El Celler de Can Roca has bestowed on the city. Joan, Josep and Jordi Roca are the three brothers who have managed to take this establishment to the highest point of world gastronomy thanks to their surprisingly creative and avant-garde cuisine, based on traditional Catalan cooking.

Another Michelin-starred restaurant, Massana, is located in the same town of Girona. This establishment has an extensive family tradition of more than 30 years of dedication to cuisine of the highest level. Innovation and tradition go hand in hand in this Girona restaurant to bring us the tastiest and most surprising gastronomy.

La Selva

Tossa de Mar is a town known mainly for its charming medieval centre, one of the most photographed places on the Costa Brava. Precisely within this historic quarter we find La Cuina de Can Simón. This family-run establishment offers a cuisine marked by the town's seafaring tradition, in which market cuisine is fused with the most modern cuisine.

Province of Girona

If we expand the map a little, we can see that the province of Girona as a whole has many more Michelin stars, thus forming a top-level gastronomic territory. The other award-winning restaurants in the province of Girona are Bo.TiC in Corçà, Ca l'Enric in Vall de Bianya, Castell de Peralada, Els Tinars in Llagostera, Fonda Xesc in Gombrèn, Les Cols in Olot and Les Magnòlies in Arbúcies.
