How to get
Cala Canyelles is the most northern beach in LLoret de Mar and have the only sports port in the town. Surrounded by a pine wood and cliffs, it is a crowded beach, with an easy access, and a lot of sports facilities, places to stay, campings and apartments in its vicinity.
The beach, about 800 metres of coast, it is divided in 2 zones: one that has access to the port, on the right, you can visit this part walking between the berths and boats or eating a paella in the bar; and the farthest part, that extends until a rocky area with recondite hideouts where hardly fit 20 people. In this farthest beach we find there a lounge bar ideal to drink a cocktail or a milkshake in the seashore of Costa Brava.
If you are a lover of snorkel or skin diving, you will find a rich marine background full of coves and trenchs (very typical in this Costa Brava zone) at the north of the beach, always swimming to this direction.
It is recomended, aftere a beach morning in Cala Canyelles, eat in the restaurant that is right at the entrance of this beach. They have been there more than 15 years and its especiallity is fish and shellfish of the mediterranean coast.
It has get the distinctive of Blue Flag.
