Begur is located in the heart of Costa Brava, next to the Empordà's plane. The town is dominated by the castle, that take up one of the numerous hills that caracterise the uneven landscape of the town.
This steep and natural environment have some of the most beautiful beaches and coves in this zone. The visitors also can enjoy the landscapes that offer the coastal roads that are a link between the beaches and coves of Begur.
The "indianos" legacy is one of the main tourist and cultural attraction in the village. The inhabitants of the town who during XIXth century prospered thanks to their business in Cuba, left there an incredible architectonic mark of their experience in America.
