Semàfor de Begur
Semàfor de Begur is located in a privileged viewpoint overlooking the sea, at the end of Cap de Begur.
This unique building was constructed in the late 19th century, and its purpose was to serve as a guide and reference for maritime traffic, as well as to establish communication with ships. The place was also used as a lookout house and a warehouse.
The development of radio communications quickly rendered buildings like Semàfor de Begur obsolete. Currently, the building is in very good condition.
