Sant Pere de Galligants
Sant Pere de Galligants is an old Benedictine abbey located in the city of Girona. It is a building declared a cultural asset of national interest.
The monastery does not have exact news of its foundation, but the first document it refers to is from 988, and it is said that it was the beneficiary of a donation of goods.
First the church was built, which is a Romanesque building with a basilical plant with three naves, during the 12th century. And later the cloister was built, attached to the church.
