The coastal road is divided into two parts:
FROM THE ROSES LIGHTHOUSE TO L'ALMADRAVA
The route begins in the Far de Roses, there you will take the coastal road that is signposted.
The first stop you will find will be the Canyelles Petites Beach, which, right in front of it, is an islet made up of various rocks, the Brancs, which are resting places for birds.
Once past the first stop, the route continues along the seafront, where, between Cala Canyelles and l'Almadrava there are two rocky outcrops (l'Omella and l'Ullastrell) usead by fishermen.
Finally, you will arrive at l'Almadrava, its name comes from the types of fishing that was practiced.
Once there you can decide whether to follow the route or return to the starting point.
FROM L'ALMADRAVA TO CALA MONTJOI
The route continues along a path full of cliffs where you can enjoy the wonderful views from there, steep rocks and full of vegetation.
Then you will arrive at Punta Falconera, the name is based on the presence of falcons that there were years ago.
After the punta, you will find the first cove, the Cala Lladó, where marble was extracted from the stones that form it. The second cove will be Cala Murtra, which receives that name thanks to the prevailing murtra vegetation. To finish, the last cove you will find will be Cala Rostella.
Finally, you will arrive at Cala Montjoi, where to finish the route you can take a bath before taking the path back to the starting point.
