Beaches and coves | Beaches and coves Tossa de Mar
Porto Pi beach
About four and a half kilometres south of Tossa de Mar, in the residential area of Martossa, we find Porto Pi beach. It's made up of coarse sand and pebbles, and is surrounded by a beautiful natural area with crystal-clear waters.
The area is limited by an imposing cliff that makes it difficult to access on foot. Due to its characteristics, the beach has been closed on some occasions due to rock falls. It's advisable to check its condition before visiting.
Visit Tossa de Mar
Medieval architecture in Costa Brava
Tossa de Mar is one of the most emblematic and photographed towns on the Costa Brava. One of the main reasons for the town's interest is its spectacular fortified mediaeval centre, declared as National Historic-Artistic Monument.
The village is practically isolated from the neighbouring towns due to its rugged location. Thus, its landscape is determined by cliffs, small coves and countless corners of great natural beauty.
This setting is an ideal place to enjoy cultural tourism with a visit to the medieval centre and the Ametllers Roman Village, or active and sports tourism with its routes on foot or by mountain bike.
