La Farella beach
Located in the town of Llançà, La Farella beach is said to bear this name because the old fishermen of the area used to fish "a l'encesa", that is to say, with a light to attract the blue fish and catch them.
This beach is made up of coarse sand and rocks and can be reached by car along the road from Llançà to El Port de la Selva, or by walking along the coastal path. It is located in a residential area and is usually very busy, especially with nudists, couples and water sports enthusiasts. Showers are available.
